"*Darter" is an extreme flaxen sorrel gelding born February 2006 to *Warrior Berndtie ABC 3155 by *Warrior's Midnight Zephyr ABC 2590. Darter, named because when he arrived, our little girl couldn't say "ST's" yet, is actually not much of a darter. He's about as low key and laid back as they come. Always comes right up to people for attention, and will stick around as long as you let him. He will likely be a great kids horse due to his small size and temperament. Darter was started in '09, and was ridden throughout the summer of 2010. He's doing incredibly well, moving off my leg, neck reining and enjoying working the cattle . He looks to us to be his leader and best friend and is as loving as they come. Darter is super curly and keeps his curls longer than any other horse here.
M SPIRIT ABC 3065
*M SPIRIT born 4-7-07 to *Sunny's Angel Dust ABC 2569 by *Wyoming Free Spirit ABC 3065, was the 1st curly foal born on M RANCH and what a solidly built gelding he is. He was born a very dark rich, reddish brown color, but is now gray with reddish brown hairs. He's very friendly, picks up his feet, leads, loads and is very easy to work with. He has very powerful hind quarters and is always one of the more conditioned horses here. Spirit was started under saddle this fall, and will continue his training in the spring.
